Welcome to the Friends of the Montvale Library!

Who are we?

We are a non-profit organization whose membership consists of area residents who are committed to improving our libraries.

What do we do?

We provide support to the libraries by raising funds that may be used in various ways, such as: to sponsor events and programs, supplement children’s programs, purchase books, computers, software and audio visual materials as well as Museum Passes.

How do we do it?

The money we raise comes from book sales, raffles, donations and various fundraisers.  The remainder of our budget is made up of  donations or grants we receive.

What’s in it for you?

The opportunity to contribute to the growth of our library, use your skills, and work with others who value the contributions the library makes to our families and community.

The mission of the Friends of the Montvale Free Public Library

is to be available to help the Library on an as-needed basis and

to further develop the interest of our
community in the use, maintenance and expansion of the Library.
